Lavonda Renee Allen 1970 - 2014 Lavonda Renee Allen, 43, of Hyattsville, MD passed unexpectedly on Wednesday January 1, 2014. Born in Cheverley, MD she was a daughter of Rosezine Harper and the late James Lee Best. She was married to Walter E. Allen Jr. They celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this past November. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and try new recipes for her family. She also enjoyed reading, doing any kind of word puzzles, watching horror movies, and spending time with her family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, husband, two daughters, Tia Jenkins and India Allen, a son, Marquise Allen, a step-son, Walter Allen III, a brother James L.
