Leonard Earl Fasick, Jr. affectionately known as “Lenny” or “J.R.” to many, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the age of 52.
For most of the past year, Lenny resided in Baltimore City where he found great passion in serving as a manager and chef at a recovery home for those new to sober living.
Lenny was born in Washington, DC, the second of four children born to Leonard and Paulette Fasick and was their only son. He attended Bowie High School with the graduating class of 1989 where he had many friends. Lenny worked at Happy Italian Delight for 20 years where he was an absolute icon to the customers including the students from Bowie High School who would visit during their open lunch. Lenny was a true fan of the Washington Redskins and could be found hooting and hollering in front of the television on game days.
Lenny was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Earl Fasick, Sr.; his grandmother Louise Regina Malocu Swan; his uncle Ronald Fasick, his uncle John Fasick; his aunt Sharon Swan Orange; his grandfather Paul Swan and his cousin John Fasick, II.
He is survived by his mother Paulette Fasick of Bowie, MD; his twin sons Alexander and Andrew Giglio of Laurel, MD; his sisters Lynette (Donald) Entzian of Lothian, MD; Stephanie Fasick of Bethesda, MD; and Jennifer (Chris) Fasick of Lothian, MD; and his half-brother Lawrence Fasick of Laurel, MD; his uncle and God-father George N. (Aunt Cheryl) Swan of Ashland City, TN; his aunt Karen Fasick, FL; his aunt Carol Fasick, FL; and his cousins, Michelle (Chris) Nolan of Mount Airy, MD; Steven (Melissa) Orange of Chesapeake Beach, MD; Tressa Suiters of Ashland City, TN; Pete Heathman of Ashland City, TN; Vicki (Michael) Poston, Mims, FL; Debbie (William) Lombardi, Bowie, MD; Angela Fasick, Palm Harbor, FL and many nieces and nephews Cassie, John, DJ, Brennan, Mackenzie, Sammy, Chance, Ashley, Christian, Emma, Christine, Brenden, Steaphan, Shannan, Sarah, Jason, Cody, and Ryan.
Family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Chesapeake Church in Huntingtown, MD on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, immediately followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm.
