Leslie Elsmere Owens

Leslie Elsmere Owens, age 76,, passed away at Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital on February 5, 2022. He was formally of Lothian, MD and Upper Marlboro, MD. He is survived by his wife Rose Owens (Windsor) of 31 years. His children are Sharon (Owens) Largen (Harry, Jr.), Michelle Owens, his ex-wife Linda James (Owens), his grand daughters, Ashley N. Largen, Jessica Largen; great grandson, Michael C. Mundey, Jr. Leslie is preceded in death by his daughter, Laura L. Owens and grand daughter Anaiya K. Owens; his parents Robert Owens Sr., Rosa L Beagle Owens of Stanford KY; his sister Ruth (Owens) Pyles, Lena G. (Owens) Allen. He is survived by brother Robert Owens, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Owens retired from Prince George's County department of Public Works and Transportation after 36 years. He was a Labor Supervisor III. He loved working with his crew members and helped them in anyway he could. Leslie loved playing cards with friend and family. He loved playing horseshoes, dancing, doing side jobs and traveling with family. Pall bearers are Zoe (Batman), Harry Largen, Jr., Sean Owens, Joe Ford, Sr., Nelson, and Timmy Largen.
