Lester "Bucky" Morris

Lester "Bucky" John Morris, 75, passed away at Conway Medical Center in Conway, SC on January 15, 2016. He was born October 1, 1940 in Washington, D.C. He was the son of late Arnold Brown Morris and Mary Ann Morris. He is survived by his beloved wife; Brenda C. Morris, of 23 years, five children; Paul Morris of Lorton, VA, Richard C. Pyles Jr. (Immeka) of Lawton, OK, Dawn-Pyles Spivey (Shannon) of Conway, SC, Shannon Vereen (BJ) of Florence, SC, and Shawn Patrick Morris of Surfside Beach, SC, and was also the” Pappa” to 11 grandchildren; Richard C. Pyles III, Reagan Pyles, Cheyenne Pyles-Moulrtie, Jadin Vereen, Ryan Pyles, Brooklyn Vereen, Shayden Spivey, Reid Pyles, Jordan Vereen, Dawson Spivey and Briley Vereen. He is also survived by his siblings Patricia Michael (Jack), Rick Morris (Kathy), Michelle Viohl (Bart), and Randy Morris, special niece Michelle Morris, special nephew Michael John Morris and numerous nieces and nephews. One great-niece Karlee Rae Morris. Bucky worked for the Metropolitan Police Department for 2 years. He then joined the Prince George's County Police Department in 1967. He retired in 1992 after 25 years of service. His rough and tough yet gentle and loving spirit will be missed greatly.
