Levi Johnny Robinson, 82, died on February, 27, 2015. He was born in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on March 11, 1932. Levi was the son of the late Ernest Robinson and Catherine Proctor. He attended Maryland Public School. He was employed by Heavy High Construction Local 456, as a shop steward, explosive blaster, and miner. Levi supervised most of the installation of the Metro underground tunnels in Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, and California. Levi retired in 1989. He leaves to mourn his wife of 37 years, Norene Robinson, daughters Lynette Hill, Marsha Ann, Cynthia Simms, his sons Ronnie Jousha Proctor, Michael, Levi, Benny, Willie, Vincent, and Clemmet. He also leaves behind his son-in-law Mark Simms and daughters-in-law Towanda Shacks and Denise Robinson. His brother Paul Robinson (Mary) and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
