Lewis Thomas Thrope On Thursday, April 19, 2006, Lewis Thomas Thrope quietly departed this life and crossed over into the next life after a short illness. Beloved husband of Alifair K. Thorpe and loving father of Althea Thomasine Roberts and the late James Daniels. He is also survived by his devoted son-in-law, Gregory Roberts; loving daughter-in-law Catherine Lisa Daniels; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Melvin and sister-in-law Rosa Thorpe and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday April 27, 2006 from 11:30am until the time of service at 1:30pm at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Branch Ave. and Coventry Way Clinton Maryland 20735. Interment private with military honors at Arlington National Cemetery on May 11, 2006.
