Linda Kay Dillon, age 72, of Capitol Heights, MD, entered into eternal rest on October 6, 2013 with family by her side. Born August 26, 1941 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Samuel Blubaugh, Sr. and the late Marie Evelyn (Johnston) Blubaugh. Linda worked as a Computer Operator for Astronaut and Senator John Glenn. She was very active in her church, teaching Sunday School and leading Awana for many years. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and raising her cats. She would frequent Chick Fil A and always had a cup of their sweet tea. She enjoyed needlepoint and crafting Christmas ornaments and other seasonal decorations. Linda leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 49 years Joe; children Joel (Melody) Dillon, Paul (Ruth) Dillon; grandchildren Alissa, Alexi, Nicholas, Laura; sisters Mary Hamley, Peggy Richards. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Hank Blubaugh. Family and friends will be received at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, October 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, October 11 at Fellowship Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery Suitland, MD.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund 8011 Rosaryville Rd.
