Louise Frances Andrews McCumber

Louise Frances Andrews McCumber of Solomons Island, MD passed away peacefully on March 17, 2021. She was born on October 22, 1925 in Timberlake, NC to the late Haywood and Rosa Blaylock Andrews. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Armage L. McCumber, two brothers Cleveland Andrews and Charles C. Andrews, along with her niece Rachael Andrews Nance and daughter-in-law Cheryl Westcamp McCumber. She was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She is survived by her loving son Rudy E. McCumber of Dunkirk, MD; granddaughter Jennifer McCumber Curtin of Burlington, NC; Grandson, Jeremy A. McCumber and wife Keri Moffatt McCumber of Arnold, MD; and four great-grandchildren: Andrew, Audrey, Emma and Olivia. Louise worked for and retired from the Navy Exchange in Bethesda, MD, after 30 years of devoted service. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Prince Frederick, MD, where she donated her time to assist with the annual holiday bake sale.
