Lowell Earnest Carey, Sr., 71, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed away on August 27, 2016 in Clinton, MD. Born on March 20, 1945 in Richmond, VA to the late James E. Carey and Norma Quesenberry. Lowell served in the U.S. Army, enjoyed playing Golf, doing Crossword Puzzles, Riding Motorcycles and was a Life Member of the DC Ramblers Motorcycle Club. He is survived by his Wife, Joanne T. Carey. Sons, Lowell Carey, Jr. (Che) and John Carey. Brothers, Wayne Carey (Vira), David Carey (Diane), Steve Carey (Judy), and Curtis Carey (Nancy). Grandchildren, Zachary Carey and Jordan Crull. A viewing will take place on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, MD. A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 10 am at the Lee Funeral Home. Interment will be at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11 am.
