Lt. Col. Andrew Lynwood Cook

It is with great sadness that the family of Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Lynwood Cook announces his passing, on Friday, March 16, 2018, in Alexandria, VA at the age of 48 years. A native of Cincinnati, OH, he was a son of Jane (Florence) Cook, and the late Herbert Cook. He enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Pararescueman in 1994, and was commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer in 2002. Drew was a loving husband and father and enjoyed the beach, boating, playing with the family dog, traveling and spending quality time with his wife and daughters. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 18 years, Dawn (Eichinger) Cook, his two daughters Madelyn Cook (16) and Zoe Cook (14), and brother Alexander Cook.
