Manuel Angel Correa, 93, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed away on August 31, 2016 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, MD. Born on December 25, 1922, in New York, New York to the late Angel Tomas Correa and Monserrate Perez. Manuel volunteered to serve with the United States Marine Corp during the World War II, fought in the Pacific War and left the USMC at the Rank of Corporal. He then served and retired from the Civil Service as part of the Federal Government. Manuel was born and raised in the Catholic Faith. He lived out each day in earnest practice of the faith to be loving and charitable to all, especially to those in profound need. Manuel deeply appreciated our country and our freedoms while he did his very best to protect those freedoms throughout his career in military and civil service. He had also had Volunteered with the Morningside Fire Department. Manuel demonstrated daily the depth with which he cherished his family and friends, supporting them in every way possible in their chosen endeavors and challenges. Manuel enjoyed collecting and renovating cars and relished in gaining knowledge and skill while trouble shooting and repairing wide-ranging items. Those who knew Manuel were cheered as he willingly shared his wit and good humor. Manuel is predeceased by his Parents, Son, Manuel, and Daughter, Juanita. He is survived by his Wife, Dolores.
