Margaret Beck Dupée was born on 13 November 1937 in Upstate New York to George Henry Beck and Margaret Ann Beck. Friends and family knew her as Peggy. Peggy met her lifelong partner Frank Elliot Dupée Jr.in Washington DC in the early sixties. They were married 18 November 1965 while he was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany in the Army. Not long after that their first child, Frank Elliot Dupée IV was born on 6 October 1966, then Matthew Beck Dupée on 28 August 1967, both born in Frankfurt, Germany. Frank eventually retired from the Army in 1978 and the family settled in Upper Marlboro, Maryland where Frank worked as a chauffer for Railway Progress Institute. Peggy remained at home raising their two children as a housewife and homemaker. Throughout Peggy’s life she remained faithful to her Catholic upbringing eventually settling into St. Mary’s Catholic church in Upper Marlboro where she made a difference in many lives. In 1997 her husband Frank passed away at home. Throughout all the trials and tribulations of her life she never strayed from her religion allowing it to enrich her life. On 2 March 2021 Peggy passed away in her sleep at home at the age of 83 to be with her family and husband in God’s care. She will be interred in Aurora, New York. She is survived by her two sons Frank and Matthew and the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
