Maggie "Margaret" E. Ellison - Prince Frederick, MDMaggie E. Ellison, 88, of Prince Frederick, Maryland; formerly of Laurel and Annapolis, Maryland went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 22, 2008 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and John Savelli. Her favorite verse from the Bible was 2nd Timothy; Chapter 4; Verses 7 & 8: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.Mrs. Ellison was born April 7, 1919 in Hiwassee, Virginia, the daughter of the late Lee Howard and Josie Blanche Spencer. She retired in 1981 from Singer-Link of Sliver Spring where she served as a wireman and crew chief. She was a member of Laurel Baptist Church and Eastport Baptist Church in Annapolis. She enjoyed her family and buying and selling antiques.She was preceded by her husband, Clyde Ellison and one son, Sidney Weir.Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and John Savelli of Prince Frederick, one son, Chester Weir of Surgoinsville, Tennessee, two sisters, Lila Lowman and Corrine Hughes, both of Annapolis and one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Sylvia Spencer of Edgewater, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends at the LEE FUNERAL HOME CALVERT, P.A., 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd., (Route 4 & Fowler Rd.) Owings, Maryland on Thursday, February 28th from 3 to 6 pm and at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, P.A., 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Friday, February 29th from 10 am until a funeral service at 11 am. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery, Annapolis, MD.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burnett Hospice House, c/o Calvert Hospice, P.O.
