Margaret Elizabeth Wilhite

Margaret E. Wilhite, 88, formerly of Forestville, MD went peacefully to be with God on Sunday December 25, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Bobby Ray Wilhite who passed in 2014. They had been married for sixty-three years at the time of his passing. Born in Washington D.C. she was a daughter of the late Alfonso and Aurelia (Jackman) Gargano. She was employed by the former C and P Phone Company as an IBM operator. She enjoyed BINGO, arts and crafts, traveling,gambling, and cooking Italian food. She also sold AVON in and around the Forestville area for over sixty years. She was a member of the AVON Presidents Club for many years. She also was an active member of the Women of Epiphany Episcopal Church. She is survived by four children; Sharon Powers, Debra Young, Robert Wilhite(Ginny) and Tammy Worth(Mark), six grandchildren; Casey Powers(Kelly), Ryan, Nicole, and Rachael Young, Jennifer Breen(Andrew) and Allison Worth, five great-grandchildren; Connor, Kaitlyn, Jase, Keegan, and Aubrey, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Alfonso Paul "Buddy" Gargano. Contributions in her name may be made to Calvert Hospice.
