\nMaria Eugenia Valdes De Prender\n \nPassed away on April 25, 2010 due to an accident at her home. The beloved wife of Henry S. Prender. Cousin of Mercedes. She was born on March 10, 1932 in Santiago, Chile. Daughter of the late Juan de Dios and MariaLuisa Valdes. Maria Eugenia lived in New York City where she worked on Wallstreet. She then moved to San Francisco. She stayed several years in the city by the bay before moving to Washington DC to marry Henry. In DC she worked for the Transit Authority until she retired in 1997. She was a devoted animal lover with an affinity for cats and a most sympathic\n human being. A memorial mass will be planned for a later date followed by interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
