Marie Helen Breen

Marie Helen Breen of Chesapeake Beach, MD, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the age of 99.Marie was born in Darby, PA, on August 15, 1915, to Marie (Crumbach) and Edward McCloskey. She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, singing and going bowling. As long as she was able, she took great pleasure in gardening and decorating beautiful cakes.Marie was the beloved wife of the late Charles Clement Breen, who passed away in 1997. She was the loving mother of Emily Nix and her late husband James, Theresa Nalley and Janet Colomo and her partner Patricia Snider. She is also survived by granddaughter, Leslie Semones, sister, Madalyn Woodyard, and numerous grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son – Charles “Chuck” Breen, daughters – Elizabeth Frances Semones and Regina “Jeannie” Breen.Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855 or American Cancer Society, 1041 MD Route 3, North Bldg A, Gambrills, MD 21054.
