Marie Tillie Drew

Marie Tillie Drew, of Annapolis, MD died on April 22, 1921 at the age of 98. Born in District Heights, MD to William Augusta Kasulke and Bertha A. Lasanska Kasulke. Marie grew up in District Heights and graduated from Maryland Park High School. She worked for the Federal Government at Health, Education and Welfare as a Secretary. Her first marriage to Wendall Giles Reno ended in divorce. She later married Raymond R. Drew and together they followed the NASCAR circuit all over the east coast. Marie also worked and retired as a waitress at a restaurant in White Oak in Montgomery County. Before moving to Annapolis, she lived in Waldorf and worked for her son Ronnie’s carpet business. Once a month Marie looked forward to a bus trip to Atlantic City to play the slot machines. She did this for years. She also left many fond memories of watching her granddaughter, Cathy while her daughter worked Marie is survived by her son, Larry Reno and his wife Sandra Reno of Waldorf, MD, son-in-law Bruce Beall of Riva, MD, her four grandchildren; Deborah Lynn Smith, Richard Ray Reno, William Patrick Beall, Catherine Marie Rutkowski and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband Raymond R. Drew, her daughter Joan Marie Beall, son Ronald Ray Reno, daughter-in-law Linda Reno and her granddaughter Leisa Renee Reno.
