Marie E. Schult

Marie E. (Hayden) Schult, age 87, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 11, 2013. Born January 29, 1926 in Seat Pleasant, MD, she was the daughter of the late Thomas M. Hayden and the late Ruth M. (Shine) Hayden. Marie worked as a Teller and Bookkeeper for National Capital Bank of Washington. She was a devoted member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Upper Marlboro, MD for 46 years. She was originally a member of the Columbia Moose Lodge and currently a member of the Marlboro Moose Lodge Chapter 1350. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards, especially the game Setback.She was preceded in death by her husband Dale; son Billy; son-in-law Charles Bean; granddaughter Karla Bean; great granddaughter Taylor Hayden; sister Dorothy Smallwood and brother Thomas Hayden.She is survived by her children, Karen (Tom) Hanson, Sharon (Bob) Fulton, Debbie Bean, Steve (Kate) Schult; sister Margaret “Sis” Beaver; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.Family and friends will be received at Lee Funeral Home, Inc. Branch Ave. and Coventry Way Clinton, MD on Friday, October 18 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, October 19 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church Upper Marlboro, MD from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at noon.
