Marika Arvanitis Starke

Marika Starke of Lusby, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Calvert Memorial Hospital, at the age of 79. She was born on May 6, 1937, in Chester, PA, to Mary Blanche (Turner) and John D. Arvanitis. Marika enjoyed making ceramics, doll collecting, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was the loving mother of Mary Weaver and her husband Jim, Darlene Boyd and her husband John, Karen Zonis and her husband Bill and Paul Starke, Jr. She was the devoted grandmother of Carrie Johnston, Erin Smart, John Boyd, Andrew Zonis, Jessica Zonis and Prescott Starke. Marika was the proud great-grandmother of Cortney and Jordan Soppa, Colby and Cam Smart and Cammie Boyd.
