Marion Garlington Pope

Marion Garlington Pope formerly of Camp Springs, MD and Heathsville, VA, passed away on February 6, 2014. She was born in Washington, DC to the late Lena and Eugene Garlington. She was the beloved wife of the Late James “Billy” Pope and loving mother of Rick Pope and his wife Alice and Judy Celia. She was the devoted grandmother of Richard Pope and his wife Barbara, John Peterson, Dana DePaul and her husband Chris, Jean Hall and her husband Doug, Tommy Pope and his wife Jodi, Jimmy Pope and Joslyn Pope. She was the great-grandmother of Justin, Travis and Haley Pope, Alexis, Dylen, Madelynne and Grace DePaul, Jason and Andrew Hall, Lena Pope and Jameson Pope. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and numerous other family and friends. She is predeceased by parents and siblings, including her identical twin sister Virginia, Margaret, Frances, Nan, Alan and Leslie. Interment will be private.
