Marjorie DeChello

Marjorie DeChello, 84, entered eternal rest into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, November 8, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, MD. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on December 28, 1934, daughter of the late Mary and Matthew Golder. For over 64 years, Marjorie was the beloved wife of Joseph DeChello. She was the loving mother of Steven (Penny) and the late Anthony. Marjorie was the devoted grandmother of Crystal Holmes, Jennifer Mossburg, Devon Hayes, and Anthony DeChello and four great-grandchildren. She was mother-in-law of Kim and the sister of Marion Logan and the late Mary Gray, Margaret Velasquez, Jeanette Fazz, and James Golder. Marjorie lived her life to the fullest, enjoying antique shopping, auctions, and collecting clocks. She touched the hearts of everybody that she met and was loved by many. She recently entered the Catholic faith by being baptized and confirmed by Monsignor Mike Wilson at Our Lady Star of the Sea in Solomons, MD. The family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexander Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735, on Tuesday, November 12 from 5 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Avenue, Clinton, MD 20735, on Wednesday, November 13 at 11 am.
