Marjorie Ann Earnest (nee Campbell) of Clinton, MD died suddenly on Friday, November 16, 2007 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. Marjorie was born June 20, 1933 in Washington, D.C. A devout Christian with a beautiful singing voice and a ready smile, she was a gentle lady with a loving, generous heart. The most important things in her life were God and her family. She was preceded in death by her father, George Colin Campbell, Sr. Survived by her mother and best friend, Gertrude Campbell of Riva, MD; her brother, whom she looked up to and adored, George Colin Campbell, Jr.; her three children, whom she loved with all her heart, Donna S. Coleman and her fiance Edward Bender, Jr. of Alexandria, VA, Cathy L. Nash and her husband Marty of Lusby, MD, and Robert W. Weeks and his wife Teresa of Ashburn, VA; her seven grandchildren, in whom she took great delight, Jason and his wife Kendall, Jordan and his wife Emily, Jonathan, Beth, Michael, Bryan, and Kevin and his wife Naomi, and one great-granddaughter, Isabelle, on whom she doted. She is also survived by her niece Gail, nephew Bruce, and great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as countless friends who have all been touched by her many kindnesses.
