Mark Edward Swiger

Mark E. Swiger, age 62 of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland passed away May 5, 2014. He is the loving father of Alison Swiger-Martin and Sara Swiger, and step-son of Patricia Swiger. He is also survived by his grandchildren Noah Ryan, Ashlynn Martin, Riley Martin, Paige Martin and sisters Becky McCullough and Lori Hartung. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Swiger and his parents Earle Swiger and Mildred Barker. Mr. Swiger lived in Chesapeake Beach for more than 10 years and retired from The Department of the Navy, NAVFAC, as a planner and estimator. After retirement , he worked as a General Contractor. His hobbies included woodworking and anything that involved working with his hands. He always looked forward to visiting his old home state, West Virginia. He was very fond of his dog Molly, pet bird Lupé and rooting for his favorite football team, the Baltimore Ravens.
