Mary was born in Washington D.C. to Louis and Margaret Miller. The family relocated to Brandywine, Maryland when she was a young child. She attended St. Francis Xavier School; however, she had to leave school to help care for her family before matriculation. She worked at Wall's Bakery, Carvel Ice Cream, Walmart, and B&B Records, and had a passion for cake decorating. She loved butterflies and caring for her extended family. Mary is survived by her children, Ada, Don Jr., John, Jay, Sherry, and Miriam; step-son Dempsey, and step-daughters Deanna and Donna; her brothers, James, Louis Jr., and Marvin; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Edgar, her brother Harry, and her step-daughter, Dixie. A viewing service is scheduled for Sunday, August 20th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, MD with a reception to follow. A private graveside memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 22nd at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
