Mary "Betsy" Elizabeth Valltos

On December 13, 2009 Mary E. “Betsy” Valltos age 82, of Owings, Maryland passed away at her home with her family by her side. Born in Rison Maryland she is the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rebecca Milstead DeLozier. Married in 1949, she is the wife of the late Nicholas G. Valltos, Sr. and loving mother of Nicholas G. Valltos, Jr. his wife Beverly, John Nicholas Valltos, his wife Lori and Nicollette “Nicki” Trigg and her husband Marshall. Sister of Mattie Lee, Buddy, Joe, Sallie and the late Annette and Nora Lee. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.\nBetsy had lived her whole life in the Calvert, Prince Georges area and was a hostess with the Lee Funeral Home from its opening in 1996. She enjoyed reading and meeting people, which is why she was so well liked by the people in the community. She attended Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church, but enjoyed visiting several churches in the area.
