Mary L. Geist1916 - 2012Mary L. Geist, 96, of District Heights, MD passed away on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Lothian, MD. Born in Altoona, PA she was a daughter of the late James and Lenna (Caldwell) Staley. She was married to the late Harold P. Geist who passed in 1999. She was the loving mother of Mary Lou Schnake, Lynna Markovich, and Carol DeCesaris. She is also survived by a sister Ruth Sidney of Altoona, PA and a brother Paul Staley of Largo, FL., four grandchildren Cindy Lee (Jimmy), Paul Schnake (Laura), Mark Markovich Jr. (Gina) and Mary DeCesaris, five great grandchildren Kellie Markovich, Ada Schnake, Amy Lee, Niklas Schnake, and Amanda Lee.
