Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Harrison

Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Harrison Mary passed away on November 19, 2012 at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of Bradley Harrison and the loving mother of Ricky Weatherholtz, Cindy Cook, Linda Anderson, James Sherwood, Kelly Catron and the late James “Butch” Weatherholtz. She was the loving sister of Doris Buckley and the late Sonny Costello. Mary was born on December 21, 1927 in Aldie, Virginia to Charles Milton and Florence (Harris) Costello. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mary married Bradley in 1970 and moved to Mechanicsville, Maryland in 1978. She had many hobbies which included: bingo, reading mystery and suspense novels, working crossword puzzles, playing board games with her family, fishing and spending her vacation time in Nags Head. She did a lot of crocheting and often donated some of her work to various charities. During the baseball season, Mary was rooting for the Orioles. Mary was a giver. Her door was always open to all who came to her and she was there for them.
