Mary Ritsuko Liljedahl

Mary Ritsuko Liljedahl, 95, of Clinton, MD passed away February 17, 2023. 

Mary was born January 1, 1928 to the late Kano and Yoshi Yasuoka, Hagi City, Japan.  

Mary was a graduate of one of Japan’s universities, studies in English.  She worked for a few years as an interpreter/translator for U.S. Navy Intelligence, Suitland. MD.  She was a member of the Japanese Americans' Care Fund and was an active participant in both their Calligraphy and Sumi art classes. 

Mary was preceded in death by her younger sister, Ikuko (Ann) Curtis in 2022.  She had one son, Robert, who died Feb 8, 1989. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Liljedahl whom she married July, 1957.  

There will not be services.

Mary律子Liljedahiさんが2023年２月17日に９５才でお亡くなりになりました。Maryさんは1928年１月１日に日本の萩市のよしいさんとかのさんの安岡家に生まれました。日本の大学で英語を学び卒業、アメリカではSuitland, MDのU.S. Navy Intelligence で数年間通訳者と働きました。2,022年に妹のいけ子(Ann) Cutisさんに先立れました。一人息子さんRobert さんは1989年2月8日に亡くなられました。MaryさんはJapanese Americans’ Care Fund の会員として書道と墨絵のクラスに参加していました。彼女の最愛の夫のRonald Liljedahlと1957年７月に結婚。サービスはしません。お花のかわりにお好きなチャリティーにMaryの名前で寄付してください。
