Mary Rose Kennedy

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Kennedy, beloved wife, mother, Nana, and friend, who left us peacefully. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Kennedy; her parents, William and Victoria Ombramonti; her daughter, Maria Dougherty; her son, Joseph Kennedy; and many extended family members.

Mary leaves behind her cherished sons, Timothy E. Kennedy (Cynthia) and Daniel S. Kennedy (Debbie), along with 10 adoring grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her loving extended family: Ann Jones, Patricia Wilson, and Thomas Burke Jr.

Mary was a woman of deep faith, loving God with all her heart. She found immense joy in worship, praising Him in song. A dedicated and nurturing mother, Mary adored her family, especially her grandchildren. Nothing gave her more happiness than spending time with her beloved grandbabies, a source of constant joy in her life.

An avid gardener with a green thumb, Mary was happiest when tending to her gardens, a place where her love for nature thrived. Her vibrant spirit and infectious energy made her a woman of remarkable spunk, always bringing life to those around her.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of our Lord and that one day we will see her again in heaven.
