Mary Geraldine McKee Sliff

January 11, 1923 — November 12, 2010

She was born in Etna, Pennsylvania on January 11, 1923, to Raymond and Emma Russ.\nMary was the beloved wife of the late Edward Charles McKee and the late Richard Sliff. She was the loving mother to Donna Mentges and her husband, Charles. Mary was the devoted great grandmother to Robert Perry and his wife, Kathy and great-great-grandson, Kalum. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and preceded in death by her eight siblings and parents.\nMary was a very special and unique person. She was a “people person” and never met a stranger. She loved to talk and help anyone she came in contact with. If you needed a hug, advice or someone to listen to you, Mary was there. She was a volunteer for many organizations, Widows Association, Elks Lodge, St. Anthony’s Church and their breakfasts and the Ladies Auxiliary with the Legion, just to name a few. Mary organized and ran the volunteers who did the taxes for Calvert Pines. If all of this was not enough, Mary loved to go for lovely walks, dancing and dinner with friends, she even bowled on a bowling league. \nHer love of life, friends and family will be greatly missed, but her beautiful smile will burn brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
