Mary Juanita Stewart

Mary Juanita Stewart was born on November 3, 1937 in Bryantown, Maryland to the late John Francis Whalen and Ann Beatrice Chace. Junita was married in 1957 to the late Robert Fenwick Stewart. To that union was born three sons, Robert Gregory Stewart, Joseph Rick Stewart, and Allen Darnell Stewart. Juanita was a long-time employee of at the Prince George’s County Public Schools where she excelled and received numerous accolades and recognitions. After 36 years of service, she retired. She was a very loving, kind, and caring person. Juanita would willingly give of her time to help others whenever needed. She was a member and supporter of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church until her transition. Juanita’s death has left a huge void in the lives of family and friends who loved her dearly. She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Robert G. Stewart (Pamela), Joseph R. Stewart (Veronica Halls), Allen D. Stewart, two brothers, Arnold Stewart and James Stewart, one sister, Mary Curtis, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
