Melvin Hall Kent

Melvin Hall Kent of Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Washington DC, died on Thursday May 19, 2016 at Flower Mound Presbyterian Hospital. He was born on September 12, 1926 in Washington D.C., to Charles and Elizabeth (Hall) Kent. He married Elizabeth Lorraine Jones on September 4, 1948. She preceded him in death on May 27, 2009. One brother, Charles Kent, also preceded him in death. Melvin served honorably In the United States Navy on active duty in World War II. He was a humble, patient, and kind father and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his children Stephen Kent, Timothy Kent, and Sandra Mackie and their families including seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
