Michael Wayne Farrell, age 50, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. He was born in La Plata, MD, on August 1, 1968, to Charles Bernard Farrell, Jr., and the late Thelma Deloris Robey. Michael was employed by Nastos Construction Company in Washington, DC, where he served for over 17 years as a General Superintendent. He was also retired from Rosecroft Raceway where he served as a Detention Barn Supervisor. Michael was the type of man who would give anyone in need the shirt off of his back. He dedicated his life to helping people, especially his beloved family. Michael loved his family with all his heart and always put family first. He loved animals, especially his dog and cats. He also loved the Washington Capitals, Washington Redskins, and all other local sports teams. Michael was predeceased by his mother, Thelma D. George. Michael is survived by his beloved father, Charles Bernard Farrell, Jr., and his wife June, of La Plata, MD; sister, Debbie Harrell and her husband, Ronnie, of Waldorf, MD; brother, Kenny Farrell and his wife, Lisa, of Charlotte Hall, MD; niece, Christina Harrell of Mechanicsville, MD; niece, Laurie Harrell and her fiancé, Eric Proffitt, of Waldorf, MD; nieces, Kelsey Farrell and Haley Farrell of Charlotte Hall, MD; grand-nephew Landon Proffitt of Waldorf, MD; and longtime companion, Jennifer Levitsky of Upper Marlboro, MD.
