Michael Anthony Pimentel

Dr. Michael Anthony Pimentel, 63, of Fort Washington, MD passed away at home October 29, 2023. 

Michael was born August 6, 1960, in Long Island, NY, to the late Mariano Pimentel, and Sinen Pe-Pimentel. He completed his BA at the University of Maryland College Park and his Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) at Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He completed his internship at St. Barnabas Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in Bronx New York and his residency in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital affiliated with Boston University in Dorchester Massachusetts. He completed a Masters of Public Health at Harvard Medical School. He opened a private medical practice in Waldorf Maryland. He loved electronics and computers. He loved cats and rescued several of them. 

Michael was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Sinen, and his siblings, Benjamin, Edgar, David, and Margaret. 

A visitation will be held 10am-11am Monday November 6, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Rd. Clinton, MD 20735, where a funeral service will take place at 11am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd. Clinton, MD 20735. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to local animal rescue centers and to The American Heart Association.
