Michael Robert Tolson

Michael (Mike) Robert Tolson passed on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center at the age of 57. Mike was born on October 12, 1964 in Washington D.C the son of late Charles R. and Barbra J. (Hilmon) Tolson Mike lived in District Heights and Forestville, Maryland all of his life. Every opportunity he had he would spend on the river in Colton’s Point, Maryland. Mike worked for SMC construction for many years until his stroke in 2014. During his time with SMC though primarily a tower crane operator, Mike worked the various ground equipment. After his stroke he was not deterred from living his life as he saw fit. Mike spent his days enjoying the presence of friends and family, fishing, eating and cooking good food, sitting and looking over the water, tinkering with small engines, looking for “good deals” on online auctions and going all over to pick them up. Mike will be dearly missed by his three sons, Charles J., Joseph, and Joshua. Also, by his three brothers Stephen, Charles W., Ronald and his 9 grandchildren Brooklynn, Lilliann, Braxton, Gunnar, RoseLynn, Layah, Charles P., Lucas and Chase.
