Michael Anthony Upperman

Michael Anthony Upperman (Age 59) Michael A. Upperman, co-owner of R.V. Upperman Sons, Inc. died suddenly on December 26, 2004 in LaPlata, MD. Born in Washington, D.C. he was a resident of LaPlata for more than 30 years. Along with his brother, Bill, he ran the family business founded by his father in 1946, since 1977. Beloved husband of Beverly; devoted father of Melinda Johnson and Amy Upperman; loving grandfather of Ryan Michael Johnson. He is also survived by his mother, Virginia Upperman; his brothers William and George; his sisters Karen and Mary, his mother-in-law, Marjorie Hanson; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his father, Reginald, and his brother, Vincent. Michael was the heart of his family and shared his love of life and laughter with all he knew. Friends may call at the Lee Funeral Home Branch Ave. and Covenrty Way, Clinton, MD on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Fort Washignton, MD at 10:00AM an Friday, December 31. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery Clinton, MD.
