Garbinsky\nMillard Emil Garbinsky, Sr.\nOn Tuesday, January 31, 2012, Millard Garbinsky, age 97 , died peacefully at his home in Upper Marlboro, Maryland where he resided for over sixty-two years. His devoted daughter Rheta Suit had cared for him for many years. His loving wife of fifty-six years, Margaret Mary, predeceased him. Millard Garbinsky was born in Janesville, Pennsylvania on January 22, 1915. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII. He owned and operated a barbershop in Upper Marlboro, Maryland for over forty years. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He loved doing crossword puzzles. His five children, Mary Sullivan, Linda Mezzapelle, Millard Garbinsky, Jr., Rheta Suit and Janet Jackson, survive him. Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive Millard Garbinsky. Viewing will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Upper Marlboro, Md from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at 11:00 am.
