Myrtle H. Snyder

Myrtle Haines Snyder, 100, of Huntingtown, MD formerly of Piney Point, MD passed away on January 7, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1921 near Chantilly, VA to the late William G. and Lena F. Haines. Myrtle was the beloved wife of the late Asa Clark Snyder, Jr. and the loving and devoted mother of Carolyn S. Anderson, James F. Snyder (Kathy), and Evelyn S. Prushinski (Robert). She was the proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 10 sisters and brothers. The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, 1 Memorial Avenue, Arlington, VA 22211 at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Calvert County Hospice P.O.
