Neda Marie Braswell

Neda M. Braswell 1935 - 2014 Neda M. Braswell, 78, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at the Bowie Health Care Center Hospital, Bowie, MD. Born in Coreglia Antelminelli in the Province of Lucca (Tuscany), Italy, she was a daughter of the late Giovanni (John) Battista Vanni and Olga Vanni. She was the beloved wife of Robert G. Braswell. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on August 26, 2013. She was employed by the Federal Government for thirty eight years, retiring on April 1, 1995. During her time she served as a secretary for the Department of the Air Force Systems Command and the USAF Office of Scientific Research, most of her time being spent at Andrews and Bolling Air Force Bases. She enjoyed playing BINGO, growing flowers in her garden, being active in her church both as a parishioner and a volunteer, and spending time with her family. She was an active member at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Upper Marlboro, MD as well as Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Washington, DC. Along with her husband she is survived by a son Robert M. Braswell, daughter-in-law Margaret Braswell; two grandchildren, Beverly and Robert W.
