Nicholas Raymond Harris

Nicholas Raymond Harris aka “Lil Nick or Big House”, 21, of Lothian, MD passed away on May 27, 2021. Born on June 20, 1999. Lil Nick is survived by his loving parents Nicholas “Big Nick” and Crystal Harris and his loving god parents Robert Bell and Penney Furr and an abundance of loving family and friends. Lil Nick attended school, K thru 12, in Calvert County, MD and graduated from Northern High School in Owings, MD in 2017. Lil Nick spent his youth playing tackle football and basketball with multiple Calvert County Teams and as an adult he played flag football for CCYFL, Chesapeake Adult Flag and DMVFFL. He also refereed on the weekends for the CCYFL. When he was not playing football or refereeing you could find him on fishing on the riverbank, hunting, spending time with his friends and family, on the video games, traveling, enjoying his favorite meal, his mom’s meatloaf and mac n cheese and more recently spending time with his girlfriend, Leah, who his parents believe was going to be his soul mate. “She brought a sparkle to his eye that no one had ever seen before.” Everyone that met Lil Nick loved him. He had a contagious smile that would light up the room. He was a simple man that enjoyed the simplicities in life. The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming amount of support shown from their friends and the community. The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM where a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private. The family requests that there will be no live streaming, video taping, and/or photographing of the services. Masks and social distancing still apply.
