Oliver Raymond Adams

On Wednesday, February 24, 2010 Oliver "Shorty" Raymond Adams at the age of 90 passed away in his home after a long illness. Beloved husband of Mae I. Adams for 60 years. He is survived by his son Raymond G. Adams of Woodbridge VA. and daughter Deborah J. Sargent of Chesapeake Beach, MD. Also survived by five grandchildren; Taryn, Heather, and Lori Adams, Joseph and Steven Sargent. A memorial prayer service will be held for family and friends Saturday, March 6 at 10:30 am at Jesus the Devine Word on Cox Rd, Huntingtown Md. http://www.jesusdivineword.org/. A reception will be held immediately following the Memorial Service on March 6th at the Northeast Community Center located at 4075 Gordon Stinnett Ave, Room C, in Chesapeake Beach, Md 20732 , (across from the Rod and Reel) all are welcome to attend. Contributions in honor of Shorty's life may be made to the American Cancer Society.
