Oliver Grant Rayfield

Oliver Grant Rayfield born April 17, 1970 in Washington DC, passed suddenly December 25, 2018, at the age of 48. He is survived by his loving soul mate of 22 years Kimberly Kathleen Savage and their children Dylan Patrick Rayfield - 17, Kaitlyn Nicole Rayfield - 15 and Jordyn Brooke Rayfield - 13. He is also survived by his mother Nina Rayfield Regan and stepfather Dennis Regan, as well as his sister Sheri Rayfield O'Dell and her husband Jeff and their children Chloe LeeAnn O'Dell - 21 and Evan Grant O'Dell - 18. He is also survived by numerous loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Oliver was predeceased by his father David Rayfield last year and his younger sister Amber Rayfield on September 5 of this year. Oliver with a loving father and was very proud of his children. He was usually "Mr. Mom" to them when they were in elementary school, putting them on the school bus and taking them to and from daycare as their Mom worked long hours. He was a brilliant mechanic and often accurately diagnosed vehicle issues by phone for his friends and family. He was proud to be employed by Anchor Construction Corporation in Washington, DC as a shop foreman. His favorite pastime was bass fishing and he entered many competitions with his uncle George. Oliver was very proud to serve with Summit Men ministry during Oil Change Days and Firewood for Families for Food Pantry clients. A memorial service will be held for Oliver at a later date.
