Owen Wilson Seals Jr

Owen Wilson Seals, Jr., 70 of Clinton, MD passed away on December 11, 2016. Owen was born in Saginaw, MI to the late Owen W. Seal, Sr. and Annabelle (Bassett) Seals. Owen is survived by his Wife, Arleatha, and Son, Owen W. Seals, III. Owen was educated in a Catholic School in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduation he went directly into the Navy. Owen spent 22 years in the navy. He spent the majority of his 22 years on ships. He served on the USS Mountrail, USS Worden CG18, USS Richard E. Byrd DDG-23, and the USS Reeves CG24. Even though Owen spent a great deal of time at sea he was a good father, and a great husband. After Owen retired from the Navy he continued to work for the Department of the Navy as a federal employee. He was a Telecommunications Specialist for the Navy and Coast Guard. In addition to the family, Owen W. Seals, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory one sister Coreaner A. Campbell; three brothers, Joseph B. Austin, Rev. Dr. Eugene O. Seals, Richard C. Seals; six sisters- in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A viewing will take place on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 10 am until time of Service at 11 am at the Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
