Patricia Lynn (Graves) Lesefske of Hyattsville, MD died in her sleep on Thursday, June 1st at 3:15am in the University of Maryland Charles Regional Hospital ICU in La Plata MD. Formerly married to the late David Thomas Lesefske, Patty retired from the National 4-H council in 2015 from a job she loved and shifted into a life of relaxing and taking it easy. Patty's life became complicated in 2022 when she suffered a mild stroke. Though she made a strong recovery, she passed away due to heart and kidney failure. Survived by her brother Joseph Graves, sister Denise Fiddesop, son Chris Lesefske, Grand daughter Rebekah Wright (and her mom Kristy), and her guardian angel Tammy Curry. Patty enjoyed her final years spending time with her son and dreaming of remodeling ideas for her condominium. In this past year before death, Patty had all her desires satisfied while surrounded by new friends and warming care. She will be missed but lives on in so many people’s hearts. Patty will be known as a hero who overcame life difficulties that include the death of her oldest son Brian Lesefske. May she rest in peace for her fight is over.
Special thanks to the staff at Morningside House of Saint Charles for how happy they made Patty over the past year.
