Patrick Sayre Bigley

Patrick Sayre Bigley, known as Pat, passed away at home with family by his side on March 27, 2025. Pat was born on April 4, 1948 at Sibley Memorial Hospital to Neil John Bigley and Margaret Marie Bigley (nee Sayre).

Pat had a successful career as a registered property line surveyor and draftsman and worked for the WSSC, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission for 35 years. At the time of his retirement, he was the section head of water and sewer design. He also worked 2 other surveying jobs as well as the WSSC so that he could put his daughters through private school and college. Pat had many interests, including fishing, collecting guns, the Civil War, his sports cars and fancy trucks and his dogs. He loved to take long morning drives, especially far down into southern Maryland.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Neil as well as a sister, Sandra Dean and brothers, Daniel and Timothy. Pat is survived by his wife of 55 years Linda Marie Bigley and his daughters, Jennifer Caldwell (Joe), Amanda Davis (Kyle), and Lindsey Snyder (Stephen) and 10 grandchildren, Hayley, Christopher, Natalie, Cullen, Gracelyn, Hannah, Samuel, Linkin, Griffon, and Jennavecia. He is also survived by a sister, Margaret and brothers, Michael and Neil, Jr.

The family will receive friends at Lee Funeral Home Calvert, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736 on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722.
