Pauline Noel Card 1934-2012Pauline Noel Card died suddenly on Sunday July, 8th 2012 in Manassas Virginia. Pauline, affectionately known to friends and family as Polly, was born on March 6th 1934 in Georgetown, Washington D.C. to the late Stephen and Pauline Noel Miller. Polly, oldest of five children, had a passion for horses and trained them in her youth. In fact, this is where she met her loving and devoted husband Joseph David Card. They fell in love and were married in Mount Calvary Church in 1951. From El Paso Texas to Camp Zama Japan, they traveled the world together as he was a member of the United States Air Force. In total they created nine new lives: six boys and three girls. Polly was a fun loving and devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had a witty sense of humor and could always be counted on for a laugh. She loved animals and arts and crafts. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her sister Charlotte Post Kalin, and her grandson Ian Franklin Joseph Berry. She is survived by her six sons: David, John, Stephen, Joseph, Charles, and Paul Card; three daughters: Theresa (Card) Cusick, Mary Card, and Patricia (Card) Berry, her sister Julie Tirinnanzi, and her brothers Charles and Stephen Miller; twenty two grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
