Peter James McGuire

Peter James McGuire, age 74 of Clinton, MD passed away on April 16, 2021 at University of Maryland Medical Center. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on September 2, 1946 to parents: late Richard F. McGuire and Anne Werkin McGuire. He served in United States Airforce from 1966 to 1991. Retiring rank of Master Sergeant. After working at the Pentagon US Joint Chiefs of Staff 1991 to 2011. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf, gardening, playing poker with friends and loved playing with his trusted dog, "Nugget". He was also a sports fan of the Boston Redsox and Washington Redskins. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lucretia Schmidt McGuire, "Lucky"; two children: Scott McGuire (Dawn) and Jennifer Saunders (Billy); three grandchildren: Billy, Kionna and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren: Harlem and Hudson; two nieces: Julie and Carolyn.
