Philip Hackelton

Philip Oliver Hackelton of Suitland Maryland passed away at his home on March 19, 2019 at the age of 83. Devoted husband of Joan Canard Hackelton for 59 years; beloved father of Michael Hackelton (Rebekah), Richard Hackelton (Michelle); loving grandfather of Wesley, Amanda, Nicole, Alissa, Bradley and Brian. Mr. Hackelton was a brave veteran of our country, a hard-working government servant and a faithful Christian servant of his church. A passion of his in early adulthood was skating, for which he won awards, including the most important one of all, the love of his life, Joan. It was at a skating rink where they first met in 1959.
