Phillip Woods, Jr.Of Morningside, MD. Entered into eternal rest on June 8, 2012. He was one of the original Buffalo Soldiers. The beloved husband of 17 years of Madeline Woods. He also leaves to mourn seven children; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 15 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Burning & Shining Light 4417 Sheriff Rd. NE Washington, DC 20019.
