Phyllis J. Tyner

Phyllis J. Tyner, 91, of California, MD, passed on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD. She was born in Binghamton, NY on October 29, 1925 to Madeline (Rotzel) and Paul E. Wood. She was the beloved wife of the late John T. Tyner Jr. who passed in 2004. Phyllis enjoyed going to yard sales and was a great friend to the Amish. Survivors include three sons, Michael (Becky), Francis (Sylvia), and Matt (Cori), 12 Grandchildren, several Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great- Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, John T. Tyner III In lieu of flowers contributions be made to St. Francis De Sales Parish, Benedict, MD, "To Support the Tridentine Mass". Family invites friends to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 7185 Benedict Avenue, Benedict, MD 20616, on Saturday, October 14th at 10:30 am. Interment will be private.
